Nice option for families

Great food and coctails. Comforable room.

There could be more personnel at the restaurant. Service was slow. Compared to previous visits, coctails had fewer alcohol and there was not plenty of options at the restaurant. Still good food.

The food was great, there were a variety of options everyday. It wasn’t just a repeat of the same things everyday. They also have other restaurants with different options, just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time since they do book fast.

I did not like that we had to walk around the building for the food, there were multiple entryways but they had you only use one. There was an adult only pool, which was great, but the bar next to it, was a bar that you had to sit at and couldn’t take your drinks to the pool, but the other pool with kids had alcohol that did allow you to drink at the pool. I thought this was strange.

What was the highlight of Fiesta Resort Central Pacific

A great birthday weekend

This is the third time I`ve stayed at this hotel. The last time was two years ago when the hotel was undergoing updates and everything was operating at about 50% - I wasn`t happy, This time however, everything was operating at 100%. The first thing I noticed is that a lot of the staff can speak very good English. I`m British but live in Costa Rica so can speak both languages, however, it`s nice to know if somebody else can`t speak Spanish, they can communicate very easily in English. The service from the staff in the restaurants and bars was very good. They were very attentive and happy to help. There were lots of pool activities although I didn`t take part and there was a very good happy atmosphere. The hotel caters mainly for Costa Rican people food-wise, but there was a good selection of food. Lots of Costa Ricans visit this hotel as it`s the closest all-inclusive hotel to San Jose and the surrounding areas. The bedroom was comfortable and had everything we needed including a hairdryer, iron, and a safe in the room. The only thing that was missing was somewhere to dry our wet clothes. I mentioned this last time I stayed and was told that there was a line in the bathroom for this. However, there was still no line in our bathroom this time - room 1281. I want to say an employee Darius was very helpful with a lady we met who couldn`t walk very well after a little bit too much alcohol, He could speak perfect English and quickly found a wheelchair and promptly took her to her room. In my opinion, he went above and beyond his duties by doing what he did. Just a suggestion - It would be amazing if you offered buses from San Jose and back to your hotel. I would visit a lot more often with my Costa Rican husband.

There was nothing that I didn`t like, everything was good.

A party family resort

I loved the food options, the size of my room and how sound proof it was. The pools are pretty big and you can swing freely without bumping with other guests.

The poor management to get the room keys, it was a little bit of a disaster and in my opinion this resort is too party based and maybe lacks options for people that only want to chill even outside the room.

Loved most of our stay

We liked the staff, the food, the swimming pools were awesome. Great drinks and very clean property.

The bed. We had a king-sized, ocean view with a balcony. We loved everything about the room EXCEPT the bed. Worn out mattress and could not get a decent night's sleep. They need to invest in new mattresses or at least foam toppers. Our bodies were literally sore all week from the bed being so uncomfortable.

Lunch and dinner was almost always the same during the 4 days we stood there. Poor desserts. Old rooms.

Fiesta atmosphere, friendly staff, average facility

The staff and fiesta atmosphere. Also, it's a favorite with Ticos and great opportunity to get to know them.

We had a premium seafacing room 3237 with no WiFi. I complained about it but nothing was done - and we stayed there for 10 days. The food was very average too.

Check-in process needs improvement

Clean facilities, friendly staff and wide variety of drinks, food.

Check-in process needs some improvements during peak hours, there is a lot of paperwork despite on-line check-in is offered... We waited for 40 mins in a line to be attended. In addition, the administration makes you go to the theater for check-in during peak hours, so isn't the best welcome experience... Few seats available to wait while someone attends you, no A/C, a lot of noise, nobody was taking the lead on keeping lines in order.

On check in, we joined a line to be attended, when we got to the top of the line, suddenly, no one was attending us. Then someone ask us to change from the line we was next to be attended to a longer line. I inform the person, there was a line I joined and no one informed they would not attend this line anymore. We had to ask if it was because we were black people, In this year it is my 4th time going to the hotel, I asked to talk to the person in charge but no one I asked for to attend the situation helped me. No one did address the situation. It was not nice, since when I traveled with my kids, they liked the service and staff. It should not had to reach to this note if the person in charge just tried to clear the situation I think the supervisor on duty should be always ready and willing to attend the guess.

Mindset is everything - be prepared for a few hiccups, but once you adjust it’s a wonderful time.

The proximity to the airport was good. Food was decent, no real lines at the bars. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Lots of locals!!

Check in was horrible - there’s a “premium” tier that’s not available to book anywhere we could find and non premium bookings were forced to stand in long lines (twice!!!) to check in. But we did have access to food and bars - as long as you’re mentally prepared it should be fine. There are many amenities that only available as additional cost like the cabanas and comfy sofa chairs (things in the pictures). Unless you’re premium you don’t have access to the nicer food options for breakfast or lunch. Timing is everything as it does get crowded by the pool.

Super clean and easy to find your way around. The buffet was delicious and every member of the staff was courteous and kind

Our water pressure in our shower. Only Spanish speaking on out television. No subtitles . Long walk to ice machine . The beach here was not what we expected at all and no one hung out there all week we stayed
